Javier has called Chicago home for more than a decade. He attended Purdue University, where he earned a degree in civil engineering, then went on to gain his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. After graduating, he worked as a traffic and transportation design engineer, medical device territory manager, construction technology research analyst, and in business development for a water utility technology company.
Javier gained an appreciation for the simplicity yet importance of high-quality pavement striping after his studies in traffic and transportation, where he designed plans for traffic, parking lots, parking garages, and signage. This, combined with his passion for products and services that benefit the public, inspired his transition to the striping industry.
After exploring several options within the pavement marking space, Javier found his ideal fit with 1-800-STRIPER®. He was impressed by the franchise team’s passion for striping and their core values of loyalty, honesty, and excellence aligned perfectly with his own.
