Prior to this, George held CFO positions in the sports apparel industry and medical device arena for over 15 years. He played an important role in private equity transactions, and led several other mergers and acquisitions in multiple sectors.
Currently, George is a managing partner of Campus Box Media and an active consultant for several boards. He is also an investor in several startups. Early on, he graduated with a BBA & MBA from the University of Texas at Austin; specializing in finance and operations. He is also a fellow of the Consortium of Graduate Study.
Recently, he won the Hispanic Business Entrepreneur of the Year award in the DFW area – an event organized by Telemundo, NBC 5, and UPS, where multiple winners and students were recognized.
